COACHES & ATHLETES: DISCOVER HOW FREELAP REVOLUTIONIZE YOUR TRAINING!
MULTIPURPOSE TRANSMITTER SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR SKI
Versatile, CxUnit transmitter can be quickly set as lap or finish transmitter. Thus, it lets you get both your lap times and your split times.
This transmitter, specially created for ski, offers 2 detection modes:
• Tx mode: This is the magnetic field detection mode. The transmitter emits a permanent magnetic field automatically detected by your FxChip transponder when it passes by. With a detection field of 6.5 meters, CxUnit offers a wide detection zone. It emits permanently and has a 24 hours battery life. This mode is recommended for disciplines in which several athletes are skiing at the same time (ex: ski cross)
• Cx mode: This is the infrared photocell detection mode. When the athlete cuts the infrared beam, CxUnit emits a magnetic signal instantly transmitted to the FxChip transponder’s timer. Thanks to its beam it offers a high accuracy and permits a detection field of up to 6.5 meters. Cx mode has an autonomy of 60h. This detection mode is recommended for disciplines in which skier are skiing one by one (ex: alpine ski). The reflector, the support (brush grip compatible) and a power supply with battery are included.
CxUnit transmitter is used with the CxFlag (Antenna flag) which permits you to obtain a wide detection zone. It must be placed after the photocell on the side of the track.
The transmitter adapts to all fields and situations. Timing data is transmitted without risk of interference or loss of signal. CxUnit can be used with other Freelap transmitters. It is particularly robust, resistant to water and extreme temperatures.
